HOME SHAKUHACHI FUKE SHAKUHACHI TAKAHASHI KUZAN FUJIYOSHI ETSUZAN @
ONO RANZAN
After his meeting with Master Fujiyoshi,
he learns over again the bases of Shakuhachi to still follow the teaching
of the Grand Master. Thereafter, he receives from Master Fujiyoshi the title of Zen Master of Fuke-shû Shakuhachi (•‰»@ŽÚ”ªŠÅŽå), and also the name Öno Ranzan (the mountain of orchids; in Japan it is used that the Master gives to his disciple an artist name when this one is considered worthy to become Master; it is some ways, a baptism). Besides the Shakuhachi, he studies and continues
his research in different areas as Japanese transverse flutes Shinobue and
Nôkan (flute used during the representations of Nô theatre), vertical and
transverse Chinese flutes and is interested in Eastern and western
painting and in Japanese pottery. He also tries to make known Shakuhachi of the Fuke school by performing of recitals and various representations in Japan, and Occident. At the same time, he carries out research on the history of Shakuhachi of Fuke sect. @ Tous droits réservés - Copyrights reserved |
